to stand down as Chief Executive Officer of Hertfordshire Cricket Limited....
.
After 9 years of service Mark Everett has decided to stand down from his role as Chief Executive Officer and Director of HCL. This is part of the natural evolution of the company and has been planned for some time, however with a slight delay due to the onset of the pandemic. Iain Fletcher will now assume the title of HCL CEO.
Both the Board of Directors and I would like to sincerely thank Mark for his hard work and devotion to duty over the last 9 years. When he was first involved in the company in a senior role, there was much reorganising necessary requiring some difficult decisions and duties. Typically, Mark undertook those duties in a forthright and commercial manner demonstrating admirable leadership. Much of the financial and organisational strength and resilience that HCL now enjoys, including withstanding the pandemic thus far, is down to the business vision and acumen that Mark has bought to HCL.
Mark stated that he his love for cricket in Hertfordshire will mean that he will always take an active interest in the on-going affairs and health of HCL and he has kindly made himself available to the Board, at any time, for consultation purposes.
We wish Mark and his family all of our best wishes for the future,
Nick Gilbert
