Following the resignation of Reece Hussain as Men’s First Team Captain at the end of the 2022 season, we are pleased to announce that Ben Waring has been appointed as his successor. All will remember Reece’s invaluable leadership and performances in 2019 when he led the county to the T20 Title at Wormsley, the County’s first silverware since 1990.

Chairman, Nick Gilbert said “ I was delighted when Ben agreed to take on the role as new Men’s First Team Captain. He has become a senior member of the team at a reasonably young age and his enthusiasm and drive for cricket success is second to none. I hope that, in his new role, these qualities permeate through to the team he leads. I wish Ben and the team every success for 2023 and beyond”
