Are you passionate about cricket and ready to take your game to the next level? Hertfordshire Women’s Cricket Team is hosting Open Trials for ambitious female cricketers who want to represent the county in the new Tier structure. This is your chance to join the squad that recently made it to the finals of the 2024 National T20, finishing as proud runners-up.

Whether you’ve been playing competitive cricket for years or are eager to showcase your skills at a higher level, this event could be your gateway to competing with some of the best. Our trials are open to **aspiring cricketers aged 16 and above** who are keen to be a part of a dynamic and talented squad for the upcoming season.

Why Attend?

• Showcase your skills: Demonstrate your batting, bowling, and fielding abilities in front of the Hertfordshire Women’s coaching staff.
• Be a part of a winning squad: The Hertfordshire team reached the finals of the 2024 National T20, marking themselves as one of the top teams in the country. By joining, you’ll be competing at a high level.
• Development opportunities: With access to excellent coaching staff and training facilities, players selected will have the opportunity to hone their cricketing skills and grow as athletes.

Who Can Attend?

• The trials are open to female cricketers aged 16 and over, with experience at county or regional hub level. If you believe you have the talent and determination to compete at a county level, we encourage you to register and attend.

What to Expect at the Trials?

The trials will involve:

• Skill assessments: Batting, bowling, and fielding drills to test your abilities in match-like conditions.
• Fitness evaluation: Basic fitness assessments to ensure players can meet the physical demands of county cricket.
• Game scenarios: Simulated match situations where you can show off your cricketing acumen and strategic thinking.
