Hertfordshire Volunteers celebrate achievements....
One again, Hertfordshire Cricket held its NatWest OSCAs celebration event on Wednesday 30th August in partnership with Essex, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire Cricket to reward it’s volunteers for all the work that they put in supporting cricket in each of their respective counties.
The event was held during Essex County Cricket Club’s Specsavers County Championship fixture with Somerset was attended by over 100 people inn the pavilion marquee and included a buffet lunch and tea as well as day out at the cricket.
NatWest OSCAs aim to reward the contribution that these volunteers make to the game. We welcome nominations for volunteers from the traditional cricketing environments (clubs, leagues, boards) but in addition to this, we would like to recognise volunteers from emerging environments such as Higher and Further Education, Community Programmes, Workplaces and Recreational Park Leagues.
Hertfordshire’s nominations came in 7 categories, Get the Game On, Leagues, Lifetime Achiever & Officiating: Umpires and Scorers, Heartbeat of the Club, Young Volunteer and NatWest Cricketforce.
